Egypt- persisting, eternal, referred to in the Arab world as 'Om Al Dounya'- the mother of the earth. An enduring civilisation rich with history and renowned for its advanced civilisation in antiquity. In modern times Cairo being the epicentre of media, arts, and entertainment and of course the heart of bellydance. Sophisticated and refined and curiously at the same time earthy and organic, a language felt by the heart and expressed through the body.
When you join our classes you are not joining a generic bellydance class but a holistic, educational, cultural, musical experience delivered by a native instructor which is thought-provoking and transformative and leads to self-awareness from beginner to advanced.

ONLINE BEGINNER CLASSES
Beginner Level 1-9
Exclusive to Aida Academy's methodology, the beginner suite begins at Level 1 with the exploration of vital somatic, postural and cultural principals inherent to Egyptian Bellydance. Students 'find their feet' with easy to follow steps and as we move through the suites those steps will become small routines that link together in Virginia's signature style. Higher level students, troupe members are encouraged to join to maintain technique and reconnect. There are many 'aha!' moments experienced in this class!

1. Classes are live streamed via the ZOOM platform, please ensure you have downloaded app.
2. Choose the class you wish to attend and finalise payment no later than 15mins before scheduled class time. Payment can be made via bank transfer or PayID to the saved contact number.
3. Screenshot proof of payment and send to us via SMS.
4. 10 minutes before the scheduled time you will receive an email with the Zoom meeting link. Please ensure our contact address is added to your contacts and dos not land in your spam folder.
5. Once you've checked into the meeting, please follow Zoom prompts as there is a virtual 'waiting room' until class commences.
Some helpful tips -
Ensure your device is charged
Have water close by
Wear form fitting garments and hip scarf to enable the instructor to see your form.
You will be placed on mute to minimise background noise however you can access chat feature and there will be opportunities to use your mic throughout the class.
